Building Stronger Academic Partnerships in Southeast Asia

The year 2025 commemorates a series of important anniversaries and initiatives related to academic cooperation between Poland and Vietnam. The University of Gdańsk is celebrating its 55th anniversary, the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) commemorates 25 years of its presence in the region, and both countries mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. In this context, meetings and projects aimed at strengthening academic ties and fostering the exchange of experience between universities take on particular significance. On 12 June 2025, a meeting with Prof. Iwona Miliszewska, a representative of RMIT’s Vietnam campus, was held at the University of Gdańsk and focused on the development of academic cooperation.
